Title: YOUTH LONGBOW ?
Post by: TSHOOTER on September 02, 2007, 08:47:00 AM
Has anyone tried the Scout longbow from Sipsey River?  I need to purchase 2 bows for birthdays in November(ages 6 & 9) and want to stay on the affordable side.

Thanks

Can't give you any info on the Sipsey River but I can offer up Maddog.   www.tradstore.com/mta (http://www.tradstore.com/mta)
The pup is a great bow at a great price.

My 11 year old son is on his 2nd Scout. He out grew his 1st and John from Sipsey River let him trade it in on a new one(with a few $$$$).The Scout is scary fast for such a light-poundage little bow. John will treat you right.

More info on the Sipsey River bows please. A freind of mine is looking for a longbow for his son. Looking for alternatives now that Great Northern stopped making the Lil Critter Gitter lie my son shoots.

My son shot a Saxson Wolverine from about age 10-13.  It is a really nice bow, but I assume they are more expensive than the Scouts.  That Scout is a great price.
