Guys I'm thinking about buying a ILF bow. Can you make a limb bolt quiver work on one and are they as quiet as a standard bow? I'm looking at Zipper with the foam carbon limbs.

Not sure if the limb bolt will work on a ILF. But I do have a Zipper ILF and it 's very quiet. Yarn wrap on the string where it contacts the limb and wool puffs.

Quiet and versatile. Limb bolt quivers are a no-go though as far as I can tell. Great northern strap on or EFA would be the way to go.

if you just can't quite it down when you get one, Mike at Dryad sells some of the brass bushings that go on the limb bolt, they are solid machined piece of brass, it helped quite mine down some, the pressed ones that come on a lot ILF risers can rattle during the shot, can't make them rattle in a static condition, but when you shoot they can. Also I placed a small piece of neoprene in the dovetail slot then inserted the limb and that helped too, a piece of felt in there will work too from what I've read. I tried the neoprene one night when I was looking around for something to try since I didn't have any felt and I spotted my likely to never be used neoprene wader repair kit hanging on my bench and it worked wonderful!
Have had several, and currently have 2 ILF's...very versatile bows, especially with the various limbs of top bowyers. As to quiet,again my experience...depends on the limbs. I settled on BF extremes for a curve, and carbon masters for LB limbs. Both pretty quiet but the nod goes to the LB masters. My quivers screw in the metal 17" riser holes.
Also have had a couple top notch carbon foam limbs and have found them noisier but slightly faster than carbon wood except for the BF Extremes.Again gone through a lot of bow/limb ILF/DAS combos and the 2 I've settled on I consider excellent.
