Master Kirk, that's what I want on my macassar/bocate SS!
Beautiful work!!!
Nice work Kirk! and congrats on the new bow Piratkey!
This has to be the first Big Foot sighting in Europe ;)
Congrats on a mighty fine looking bow.
Greetings from another European bowhunter.
It is not the first one, there is already one in Germany. I hope to test-drive it soon
Good to see you posting, AD!
Careful about test-driving one... you might have to sell some of your electronic toys or Kefir grains and place an order!
Them babies got some nice cast for those long shots of yours!
Here you go Yves... A couple more pics to tide you over.
I've still got to do the slow motion video editing and run the DFC charts today...

You're going to be very happy with the bow's performance and nice manners.

There is everything to like, looks , speed, stability, smoothness, Grip. These bows have it all. That macassar is really awesome.

God bless, Steve

Average 2.5 lb per inch of draw, 85.89 % efficient at 9gpp. 192 at 27 with 9gpp.
Pretty good stats there. Awsome in fact.
God bless, Steve
you know something... i think that 17" draw reading is off a bit. there is no bump in the draw like that... i need to get the draw weight pc interface hooked right into my shooting machine one of these days..... In my "Spare time"...right.... :p
That's a beauty Kirk.

Oh yes,thanks Kirk
here is the DFC on the foam core limbs.... These limbs are noticeably smoother drawing, but the chart doesn't show all that much difference.... The foam has a noticeably higher pitch sound to them vs the wood cores though. The Vertical limb stability is much higher in the wood cores.

You LB limbs (maple core/ xx carbon) or (foam core / xx carbon)
produce the same speed, top noch performance in both, impressed.
Thanks

It is impressive isn't it. I can't help but wonder if the RC limbs test the same, including the vertical stability?
The bow is at home, whaou,it's really a very nice bow,the macassar ebony wood riser is beautiful and the zebrawood veneers too.
How about the shoot ??
Oh, about speed,I shoot it side by side with my Border Black Douglas hex6 h bb2 with the same arrows (I dont have chrono) I cannot tell you wich one is more fast, incredible.
About noise??
the bow come with a D97 string (10 strands) and catwiskers, with 7,5" brace height, the bow is ready to go hunting.
The vertical limbs stability is very good.
The bow is very easy to draw, the last inch is more strong but this is normal.
Bow stability??
the bow is heavy (2;3#) thanks to the macassar ebony wood/G10
in the riser, after the shoot the bow is dead in hand, zero vibration, nothing, nada, impressed.
Thanks Kirk
Nice
Quite a statement and testimonial that any D and R longbow is on par with a Border Hex SixRecurve!!
Really makes you wonder how Kirks New Static SS recurve performs.
God bless, Steve
Nice bow I see that in ATO too!
