Just had to share a couple pictures I took at the house this evening. Stepped outside to do some yard work and in the neighbors field these boys were grazing in the tall grass.
This will get your blood pumping for September.! Great Antler growth these are going to be some nice Bulls come September!

JEALOUSY!! "all" we've got here in FL is whitetails and hogs. Man I pray I can do some elk hunting in this lifetime!
Oh me oh my Tater; you are a lucky man indeed!
My yard doesn't look nothing like that ! Makes me sad.
Glenn
That just amazes me!
Such beauty...
That's neat. I'd like to see that in my yard. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Tater, behave yourself!! Back away from the fence. Just kidding. Man Pat that is awesome.
Oh yea one more thing, Come Sept. I bet you couldn't see one within a mile of that place.
Pat, don't let'em out of your sight. See ya in seven weeks.
SaWeeeeeeeeeT!!!
Just to clarify these are "Yard Elk" they are free roaming but not true "Wild Elk".
They hang around here all year, I do not hunt these Elk. They are just really cool to have around.
I go Elk hunting and my wife tells me the Bulls were waking her up in the morning Bugling outside the house. That is just wrong !!
Scott,
See ya in a few weeks.
Cool pics Pat!! btw we'll out there Aug.1-4 to visit our daughter and move her into an apartment in Greeley, I'll shoot you a pm in the next couple of days and we'll try to get together while I'm there.
Steve
Much better than the pink flamingos....
Go get em Pat!!
Hey Pat are they the same ones of April?
Cool!
Awesome photos Pat!
Are they coming down from the hills west of you or just hanging out all summer in those lush creek bottoms?
If they don't come when you call them their wild! ..... :biglaugh:
Headed your way pretty soon!
Good one, Snag!
You've got the Elk, like we've got the Whitetail. Pretty great to see.
Wow!!!!!!!!
Felix,
These are the same 4 Bulls we saw when you were here in April. We see them on a regular basis now.
We are blessed to have Elk and Mule Deer that hang around our house all year long.
Tim,
These Elk have been resident here for quite a few years the fires and drought in 2000 pushed them down and they found the living was easy, grass was green, and nobody bothered them here.
Beautiful!
those are some nice elk!
Nice pics tater. Looking forward to Sept. Not sure where I'll be hunting for Elk but somewhere.
What's your address, I need some practice
Pretty cool, I see a woodchuck or a hen turkey once in a while........
Pretty neat Patrick

Tater, I sure wish we had some of those "Yard Elk" here in upstate NY!! Thanks for sharing the pictures......
