Just a bit of recognition and praise for the fine quality and great products that have been consistently delivered by Howard Hill Archery for many, many yrs.
This old "Big Five" is what prompted this thread, ive had it for well over 20 yrs. and was used when I purchased it.
Its been bonked, dinked, doinked and scraped to the point of a refinish but it keeps on huntin.......testimony of a fine product.
For all the folks at Howard Hill Archery, JOB WELL DONE!!! for you have played a huge part in keeping trad. archery alive and well, through all these many yrs. due to your dedication and love for this great sport, even through the economic good times and bad.

Excellent post.
Excellent indeed
My Big Five had been beaten up a bit too....keeps on flingin' though.
Hey!
Takes a dingin'
but keeps on flingin'
For all around huntability, I don't see how you can beat an HHA longbow. Good lookin', a pleasure to shoot, hits where you look, very decently priced, fast turn around & last for ever. What more could a fella ask for? There are more expensive bows around but none better. JMO
Good folks great bows.
Well said! My sentiments exactly.
I have emailed and talked to Craig at HHA many times and he is as nice a guy as you could ever meet. Nice post!

Just spoke to Craig yesterday for the first time. It was a brief conversation about the Cheetah blank I'm having him build. He seamed very peasant. HHA is why there are American semi longbows. Great bows, great people.
I hear ya Paul! I haven't had my HHA Wesley a full year yet but I have enjoyed getting to know "DD" as I caller. This is the first bow that I have truly committed to and tried to learn. I'm looking forward to our future seasons together.

Craig,is a good guy for sure. He was great to deal with when I had a bow built. I contacted him about a few older used bows I had bought, one was a limited edition. He took the time to answer all my questions and gave me even more info on the bows. And on top of that,he builds some great shooters!

I have been very pleased with my HHA dealings. My HHA bows are my favorites. Great quality, consistant, good prices, & outstanding delivery times. They have been focused on one bow design since the beginning of Hill style bows and know what they are doing.
Most-excellent complement!

Here is the 'man' with THE MAN'S buckskin jacket he wore in the Last Wilderness movie. If you are ever near Hamilton, Mt., stop in and get the tour. Craig was a great guy to talk to.

Nice pic.
I think that'd be a bit small for me :(
Most men and women of that generation were more fit than we are today.
