My new arrows just arrived in the mail! I'm pretty excited about these. 30" Gold Tip 35/55 trad blems from Big Jim's. These arrows are a steal and flawlessly put together. I couldn't be happier. Unfortunately it will be another week or two before I can shoot them :banghead: broken elbow and all. Thanks Big Jim!
I've never seen a two fletch before. Looks like Jim did a good job on them.
The pigmy's in New Guinnie (spelling) shoot an arrow with a leaf inserted in the shaft that become a two fletch and those dudes can shoot stuff 30-50 ft up in the trees.
I shot most of a tournament season with 2 fletched arrows. Most of the time they seem to fly well but they are not as forgiving as 3 or 4 fletch. It's a little like being halfway between bare shaft and full fletching. Good luck.
Well, they sure look differant!!!
Kinda intrigueing... A bag of 100 feathers doing 50 arrows... Sounds like a homerun!!!!!
Yeah they are neat looking. I'm really excited to shoot them. Hey 2fletch I'm going to be ordering a quiver from you before too long!
Please report how they shoot. I am going to fletch up a bunch of 2 fletch and will shoot them together with my regular 3 fletch and see how they fair.
I'm skeptical that a two fletch will fly well with a bh. I hope it works for you.
A friend of mine shoots a two fletch with a Simmons tree shark no issues with flight, David post a pic of your arras btw the arrows look great I just did up some axis with two 4" they fly great
I have shot a 2 fletch with Centaur Battle Axes and cannot tell a difference in them and 3 fletch, except for less noise and a little flatter trajectory(less drag) 20yd+, better fletch clearance in quiver.
That's all Jim Neaves at Centaur shoots.
They just look like they forgot something. Ya know? They look REAL Quirky to me.....
I shoot 2 fletch on river cane pushing a Simmons Interceptor out of an Osage selfbow. They fly great, until I get buck fever, and then a guided missle wouldn't help!!!!!!
I will report as soon as I am able to shoot again! I can''t remember the name of the fella that fletches arrows at Big Jim's but he did a great job! This is the best set of arrows I've yet! JAG :biglaugh: I know the feeling!
Didn't the American Indians use 2 fletch....?
We did (and do.) I shoot two fletch, often with bone broadheads. Works just fine.
Looks interesting. Please report on how they shoot.
Two questions:
How do you align the feathers with the nock?
How to you align the feathers with the B.H.?
