Title: Help me find this pack
Post by: FerretWYO on July 08, 2013, 04:15:00 PM
Several years ago there was a company selling a meat carrying pack that was like a panyard. It had a babag in the fron and a bag in the back you loaded up both sides then took off. The claim was because it was ballanced you could carry more.

What was the name of this pack and where could one be found today?

This is more simple than the ribz pack.  It's just two bags the samba size with a whole in the middle to put your heade through and padded for your shoulders.

Randy,

If I remember correctly the original manufacturer was actually based in Wyoming.  My friend Byron Schurg (Monarch Longbows, Missoula, MT) was a distributor for the product and this was a long time ago....

I haven't seen any marketing for the panier-like carrier since some sportsmans show about 10 years ago.

Good luck with your search!

Shoot straight, Shinken

Randy , Montana Tent co, may make it to your specs. I would check with them if you cannot find an original MFG.

God bless and good luck , Steve
