Title: Youth arrows
Post by: hardtimes on July 08, 2013, 07:42:00 AM
I am looking to order some youth arrows for my 6 year old daughter. If I recall someone here makes them. I looked thru the sponsors page but cant seem to locate them.

I am looking for quality youth arrows. Would not mind having a set made to order. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Ray

"Kids Sticks Arrows" I think. Goes by the screen name of Green.    Great arrows for kids and a good guy to work with.

edit:
I just went and looked, could not find his add either.    :dunno:

They both just said it.  Green makes the best looking, and functional, kid arrows I have ever seen.

Due to increases late last year in the prices of feathers, shipping, etc. it got to the point where I was building and shipping a dozen arrows for a mere $4 in profit, as I felt $43 tyd for six youth arrows was pretty much the upper limit on price.

After my heart attack in March I decided that I needed to spend a few more hours at night sleeping rather than getting up at 2am to catch a few more hours to build arrows before going to work.

I have to say that the opportunity to provide some nice wood arrows for the younger generation of Trad Ganger's was a distinct privilege in my life, and in addition to all of the orders, I greatly appreciated all the fine comments and photos I received from children, parents, and grandparents during that time.

Doin' great Ray, thanks.  Complete change in diet, take the meds, etc. and I'm feeling better now than I have in a few years.  It's amazing how good you feel when the doc puts new, unclogged pipes on the pump.  :D

Sorry to hear this Rob.  I just found out a couple minutes ago. Another way to look at it is that it gives you plenty more time to hunt.

Best of luck buddy...

Mike

I recently purchased 2 doz 1/4" woodies from Kustom King for my 8 and 4 year old sons. They are not fancy by any stretch of the imagination but we are quite happy with them. They fly well out of the Mad Dog Pup longbow and they fly decent out of the $15, 10 pound fiberglass stick bow.

I even put a couple of 125gr Judo points on them and they are holding up quite well despite the fairly regular beatings they take.

I think they cost about $30 or 35 a doz.
