Trying to find out who built this one. Any help would be appreciated. Bolt is embedded in riser.

I have seen some old Schafer bows with a similar takedown setup.
Looks like a Soverign limb. I have either seen that system on one of those or on an old Bob Lee. Can't remember for sure though.
I bet that is a real fast bow.
God bless, Steve
Thank you for the inputs. Yes, very fast bow. 71#@31". Here is one more photo to help. Note the knobs of takedown system, large and flat. Note curve in limb too.

Has the look of a Keith Chastain bow to me. Jim
I was thinking Chastain, too, esp after seeing the limbs. Keith uses a longer limb bed than most.
Good deal 3 leads so far. Thanks.
I ain't no expert but that looks like an old Silvertip to me.
Wapiti --Keith..
I have an email with pics to Keith presently. Will let you know outcome. Thanks again.
Lol Kim I see you are on the hunt as I was when I had that one. I emailed and sent Dave Windauer about 30 pics and he swears its not a Silvertip of any vintage. His professional opinion was that it was either a lesser known bowyer or an 'ode to' a Silvertip perhaps. Good luck! I also spoke to Tecum-tha (Roland) and he is a friend of Chastain and is also positive it is not a JK. I'm dang curious either way and hope you succeed, I did not have the time to figure it out. Pretty cool bow either way and shot a 700+ grain arrow when I pulled it back behind my ear like nothing.
I am sure it isn't a Chastain's bow,Keith has always used 2 bolt on each limb.
OK Keith says not one of his. So with Nineworlds9 input the search goes on.
Don't know about the bow but back in the eighties that was the bolt system that Bingams sold. Could it be one someone built to resemble a Schffer?
Jess, Thanks for the eighties hint, valuable info there. I appreciate your inputs. Grip also is stippled. Anyone else on limb design?
