Title: Bunnie season.

Cotton tail season opend today . Was 110 here today so went out this evining seen six but no shots. Going out at first light in the am going to be 112 so not going to be at it long.Wife thinks Im nuts. Might be a good day to catch a napping coyote . They are irigating the orchards so should be good .

Good luck... Glad I'm not a cotton tail in your neck of the woods, or a coyote for that matter.

Hey Thumper, sure is hot here this week!  If you ever want a hunting partner let's hook up.  I'm thinking some good paella with the rabbit!  Where are you hunting?

We start in October and I live to hunt bunnies.  My nearest ranch is 10 miles and the owner told me there were a bunch out there this year.

I am ready for the season, but have antelope and deer before that happens

I heard you were only supposed to eat bunnies in months with a R in them

Our bunnies have warbles all year long it does not get cold out here.Summer rabbits are fine to eat.Did not have any shots did not realy try was too hot to pull the string back.   :rolleyes:  112 today.
