Has anyone read the book "Longbow A Hunting Life Book" By Jay Campbell
I just saw it and am thinking about buying it.
Get it. Now.
It's a great read.
Great book!
Great book!! I practically read it in one sitting
Jay writes well, it's an entertaining read.
Yes, I have read it....loved it. It's really a great read--much more than just a lot of hunting stories though it has some great ones. It's about life. The author is very transparent in sharing his victories and defeats. You will be touched by some of the material.
Charlie Lamb's book was great as well. I read both last week while on vacation.
Great book, would highly recommend it!
I just received A Hunting Life, Sound of the String, and Have Bow Will Travel to take on vacation.
This many TradGangers chiming in and no one disagrees... this must be a great book I am convinced.
Just bought it on Amazon.
Great book and great man!
I've read articles from him in Traditional Bowhunters and I like his writing style.
I'm a reader, and Jay's is a great book.
Tom
I have four all time favorite bowhunting writers...
Jay Massey
Don Thomas
Fred Asbell
and...
Jay Campbell
The book you mentioned is tough to put down without reading it all at once. I forced myself to read only one chapter per day...and then read it again. Jay's book is that good.
I liked it! Jay is a really nice guy. I have only met him and his wife a couple of times, but they are very enjoyable folks to know.
Great Book !!
It a great read
Long live Jukebox!
