I'm not sure why, but these showed up at my door.
I got Great memories hunting with Fred, matter of fact, last I knew the biggest buck he ever killed was on a St Jude hunt with me at The Paradise. And also got a hog...
These also came from this Years Auction....
Many thanks Fred, its been too long since we shared the same woodlot!!!

I'm going to bring up the thread from 2007 ...not sure what happened to the hog hero pics...but there one or two of him skinning.....Going to T it up...
Fred's a great guy, who's wife sure can bake a mean zucchini and cinnamon bread!! I had the pleasure of sharing a camp with him last year at Bear Quest. The man, who is as solid as a rock, endured the ride from LaTuque to Peru Mass, cramped up in the back seat of my P/U with no AC!!! He never said a word!!!
I've met some fine people here over the years, and Fred ranks among the best of them.
Good on ya Fred!
Yeah to both of you.....Its a shame his economy we've had to live in the last 5 years....its kept me from seeing a lot of my friends. Fred is a Hoot to have in camp.
I agree.. Fred is one of our finest. A world class bowhunter for sure. I had the pleasure of bunking with him one year (separate beds!!) and he never said a word about my world class snoring. BW
Fred is one of the good ones. I had the pleasure of meeting him this past spring at Barry's Bootcamp.
I had the pleasure of sharing Barry's boot camp with Fred, Walt and many others .
Two of the many tradgangers that I would love to hunt with and are welcome in my camp anytime
He is top class in my mind.
Wholeheartedly agree, Fred is a great guy. I've really enjoyed hunting with him.
Barry I also shared a bunk with Fred and if you snore better then him you must be world class.
I agree Fred is among the very best.
Spent a week in Bear camp with Fred last year. Top notch fellow for sure
You must have me mixed up with somebody else !
Terry just wanted to do something to let you know we all appreciate what you do .
Thanks guys it means a lot coming from people I look up to . I hadn't realised how many Tradgangers I've had the good fortune to share a camp with . I honestly enjoyed every hunt . Didn't bag game every time but made good friends and great memories . And Luke I only snore in Austraila ,not in the states . ( yeah right )
I had the pleasure of meeting Fred at Barry Wensel's Bootcamp this spring.
I knew right away he was someone that I would enjoy hunting with.
Hope to get to some day.
Best of luck to you this season Fred.
Marty
I still laugh when I think about his story about the missing red chicken. Too funny, I've met the best people through this site. It's not about the harvest but the memories spent around the campfire and the lifelong bonds that result from those special times.
:campfire:
You got it Mike, I was thinking of that today.... Fred asking a cop if he'd seen any red chickens!!!! I can just picture it!!
