It would almost have to be a guy with a helicopter and a machine gun!
Another good one Pat - congratulations!
Tell us more Pat? Was there a bunch of em? Did you have to stalk very far? How far was the shot? Sorry I like the details :bigsmyl:
Congrats sir!
Way to go! :bigsmyl:
Pat, you are the man! If you ever need a hand dragging one of those monsters out, I'm your guy. I'd love to spend a hunt learning your technique. It seems to be pretty effective.
WooHoo! :jumper:
Sorry about the lack of details, it was late and I was tired..
Lately been using this little bow by Ken Rohloff, it's his "Inferno".. Neat bow with loads of performance.. It's 54@28, I probably get 57 or so out of it. I seem to be able to shoot both GT 55/75's and CE350's.. Depending on point weight one is a little underspined and the other a tad overspined.. They both seem to kill stuff.. Last night I pulled a 350 out of my quiver, it had a 145 Eclipse mounted on a 100 grain steel adapter..
I think the most important aspect about "piggin" is to go where they are, simple as that. If you hear them, go to them.. If you see fresh sign, hunt there or intercept them.. Don't waste your time in areas they aren't useing.. They move around if they're pressured and or move with available food.. And they don't mind traveling quite a ways in a night.. Hunt where they are !
This probably applies to most species..
Great hog! "The Pig Master" :notworthy:
The BACON-ATOR does it again!
