Post by: Chris Surtees on August 31, 2007, 09:17:00 AM
Just wanted to see what your thoughts were on the shafts. What type of bow are you shooting them out of? What is you arrow lenght and weight specs?

Thanks,
Chris

CJones uses Epics. I also think Shawn was using them at the beginning of his recovery from shoulder surgery. So you may want to give them a shout Chris.

My Girlfriend is shooting them out of her bow.  She is shooting 40#@ 27 inches, 29 inch arrow, 145 point, out of a 73 bear super kodiak.  Finished arrow is right around 400 grains. So far they fly better than anything else she's shot. Everything else is too stiff.

David,

Thanks for the info. I will give them a shout.

Hawk,

Pretty much sounds like these may do the trick for me. After I get a little more info I may have to buy some.

Chris

I bought some a couple months ago I'm shooting them out of a 45lb Bob Lee three piece longbow. so far I like  them they are a little lite, I put 200grs up front with some weeder string in them and they shoot great. O yea cut to 29.5
