Was looking for an alternative for attaching BH using something other than heat and glue sticks anyone ever use JB Weld or something like that?.......stabow
Yep, JB Weld and 24hr epoxy. Both are permenant.
You could silver solder it. It's very strong but reversible.
Epoxy here.....holds like a weld.
Might try some epoxy thanks......stabow
Epoxy works fine, just make sure you have the alignment true before it sets.
If you go with epoxy get the 24 hour set.
I used to use glue, thinking that I could swap out heads at will. But since I lose or break arrows far more often than I ever get a chance to swap out heads, I switched over to the 24 hour epoxy as well.
Marine epoxy
JB Weld
I do customer's heads with epoxy, and never a complaint. I use hot melt for my own, I tinker too much!
