Are these bows still being made and if so is there a site to visit? Thanks
Production is on hold at the moment as John recuperates from a hip replacement. He does plan on getting back after it as soon as he can though from what I have heard!

No website - old school, you have to use the phone!
Thanks I may be getting one of his bows and was looking for info. Do you have any hands on with the 50's style recurve?
I happened to see one over the weekend at a 3-D shoot....didn't shoot it, but it was a sharp looking bow!
His bows are well crafted. I have a r/d long bow and a 59 replica. Both favorites of mine.
I have s 60's recurve all cocbolo with yew limbs. One of the nicest bows I have ever shot even though John is geeting grouchy in his old age :)

Thanks fellas. I will know for my self soon enough. I have a 50's style recurve coming in midweek. Cocobola riser and red elm limbs 60" 52@28.
If you dont like it, it wont last long on the classifieds. Chances are, you will like it.
John has always been grouchy.
But he makes a very good bow!
I want one of his takedowns. Hope I can locate one.
I know The Footed Shaft has some of his Hill style bows, they had a flatbow but some lucky guy grabbed it before I could see it
My wife said the box is at the house. Got a few hours to wait before I can play with it.
