Big Jim, thank you ! I am a proud owner of a Thunderchild, I traded one of my best recurves for it and it is exactly what I was looking for. I love longbows and I own many types of them Hill style like NM Classic, Shrew Hill, R/D like Stalker or Robertson Vision, Classics like my Great Northern Critter Gitter and of course my self bows like my Ed Scott Owl. I was looking for something different, something very un longbow like but every way still a longbow.....the Thunderchild. What a keeper, it defies the laws of longbows that they need to be straight, d shaped and longer than the shooter. This TC is shorter than me (doesn't say much being the dwarf I am) but draws and spits em out right down awesome. The only thing I can't quite understand is how such a big man like Big Jim has made the perfect carbine longbow ? Lol, now I think I know what I am going to ask the bride for my 50th next year.
Big Jim makes great Bows, I am on the waiting list for a thunder child. :bigsmyl:
Hard to beat a Thunderchild. Love mine. God bless.
awesome bows and even better man behind them
I think we both hit a homerun longstick.. hardly ever meet a bow i did not like. :goldtooth:

Agreed.....
I'll get pics up soon enough, I'm pairing this bow up with the new Mesa quiver from Eagles Flight, Sharkskin, perfect match up and I"m using Easton Axis Traditionals.
Big Jim is D'Man....
On my wish list!
