I'm really getting into all these Tall Tines threads that have been on here lately. I've been a Black Widow shooter for the last 18 years. I picked up a Morrison Cheyenne 2 years ago, and loved it. Now I'm seeing all the threads on Tall Tines and I'm thinking that I might want one of them too!! I can shoot most bows pretty much the same. If you have a picture lets see it!
Sean,
I have some TT pics I can share from me and friends for starters. I was fortunate enough to purchase the first TallTines sold to the public. Barry Wensel and I were shooting with a large group at one of The Professional Bowhunters Society Odd Year events in WI and we stayed back from the group a target or two so Barry could run some arrows thru ol #1. Not long after that he had one on order and has managed to take a "few" animals with it. Here are a couple memorable ones:

This is actually #1 and #2. I was so impressed with the TT the first time I shot it I called a buddy and he ordered one as well sight unseen (he now has 4 of them).

I have a few others:

My all time favorite may be the ugliest TT ever concocted (my own doing). I camo dipped one and it has been thru the ringer.

Great pics Steve! Someday I will travel across the state to try a Tall Tines. A three piece LB is high on my priority list and Brian seems to be a fine bowyer.
I have not had a chance to shoot one yet but they are at the top of the list as far as a bow to try for me. If Uncle Barry can shoot them with his hat on crooked I figure I might be able to shoot them with my hat on straight! HA!
Here's one, Rosewood riser- carpathian elm burl limbs 60" 57@28

I'll post a few more tomorrow
I have been looking for a go to 3 piece T/D for traveling.
To make a long story short, talked with Brian this morning, sent a deposit and have a Tall Tines 3 piece T/D with hybrid limbs on the way!
Okay one more pic

Sweet looking bows !!! :notworthy:

I'd love to see Brian build a one-piece version. Those grips look fantastic.
Tom, Brian does make a one-piece recurve.

You know, I will never understand Photobucket...all the pictures display properly in there :dunno:
I aint quite figured it out yet either!!
Looks like a 'go to' bow for a lot of guys. Good looking too. Hard to not like that combination.
Mike! See your name made me think of this...

We'll see you next month at The Professional Bowhunters Society Odd Year Gathering in Wisconsin.
Btw, that TT is Galo Enclaves riser and veneers.
Steve, I was really hoping to make the PBS Odd year gathering, but I can't get the time off from work. Again, these bows are blowing me away. Thanks for posting them.

Have any pictures of one? This is the first I've heard of one. Not on his website.
Glenn, I'm currently re-designing my one piece recurve. Now that the hybrid limb longbow is ready to go, I can spend some time getting the one piece the way I want it. A 1 piece longbow is in the works as well. Stay tuned....

Steve O - one successful harvest shot of many for Daniel I'm sure. He was one happy dude. Look forward to seeing you guys again.
Mike V. - that is one classy looking bow. Very rich in color, and really blends in well in the timber too.
A few days ago, I showed my wife the pics of Gene's new T/T bow, the 'Frenchy' one. ;) Well my wife has been on a cleaning kick lately, and last night, there on my dresser was Brian's Tall Tines card I had picked up some time ago. Hhmmmm. . . So I says "Honey, this card, where did it come from? Is this A SIGN ??" She said, no it's a card. When she realized it was the bowyer of Gene's bow, she said it was REALLY just a card. :D Well, maybe next year. I bought a beautiful Dwyer longbow earlier this year, so I can't whine too much. But I agree with you Sean, looking at all of this bow hunter's "bling" gets the wheels a churn in'. It's going to happen some day. Just hard to decide recurve or longbow, much less wood combinations. But keep the pics coming guys.
I'm betting that Mr. Wessels phone is going to be ringing a lot after posting all these beautiful bows in the last week!! They are craftsmanship at its finest!! Nice job Brian!! :clapper:
Can I play?
It wouldn't be fair to Brian if we only talked about how beautiful these bows are. Great looks are obvious, but his bows are flat out perfomers as well!! I bought mine for hunting, not to look at....but I sure do like looking at it :bigsmyl:
That is beautiful!

Awww heck. Might as well join in the fun. I don't have a Talltines recurve. That is changing soon. I do have this on the way, though.

It looks strangly familiar. Like I've seen a similar bow before :)

DarkTimber and Steve O, that's the most important thing. If It shoots anything like my Widows or my Morrison, which something tells me that it will, I'll have one in my battery be for long! Great looking bows guys!!!
I will get some pics of my 64" unless Steve can get them from his account.
