Introducing the new TallTines "Stickflinger"! Although there have been many people who like the traditional D shape of my 3 piece longbow, there have also been many requests for a more hybrid style longbow limb. The new hybrid limb will be offered in 60, 62, and 64" lengths. These limbs will utilize the same riser that is used with the mild R/D limbs so existing TT's longbows can use the new limb without any change in string length or riser. I apologize for not having any strung photos right now. I forgot to snap them before I put them in the spray booth. : ) I'll try to get more pics and strung photos in the near future. Feel free to call or email with any questions. Thanks. Brian

looking fwd. to seeing one braced up!
-
I'm sure they will be a big hit. I love the name!
-
Yep,those look like dandies, love to see one braced up and see the testing report: speed increase, shootability, quietness etc. Also like to see a pic of your 1piece. Can't find one on your site. Probably just me.
-
Looks great Brian! I am so partial to your D shape as it is my absolute go to every season bow...but since I have a couple of risers I may be calling for some "stickflingers" limbs :)
-
Might have to get a set on order.
-
Brian, can you give us a comparison to your original longbow limbs?
-
Ahhhhhhh, fortunately I just stay on the build list!

Nice profile Brian. I like it and I'm picky..
God bless you, Steve

Mine will be 60ish pounds, 60 or 62", made of some of the finest Myrtle Burl found with a checkered grip. Think it'll be my moose and elk bow!
-
Really neat....looks like an old Semi-Curve, I like the profile a lot! Now for the important question....How does it shoot!! :dunno: :dunno:
-
I shot that one in bear camp less than 2 weeks ago. Although it was shy of 40 pounds it could have shot clean through a bear. Buttery smooth back further than I could pull it, no hand shock (a 550 gr. arrow out of a #38 bow will do that), and an amazing grip.
-
Joe...There are several differences between my D shape limb and this hybrid. Obvisouly the strung profile is much different. Also, this new limb will accomodate a much longer draw length for the 60" and 62" bows. For example, the 62" limb will easily handle a 31" draw. Lastly, the overall core thickness (stack height) in the limb is less for equal draw weights between the two limbs, allowing the limb to be lighter and dead in the hand.

Man that looks nice!

Good looking stuff Brian !!!

Want to bring this back up top....any more info/pics on the new hybrid limbs.....Steve?
-
Sleek!

I REALLY want to try one of these out. I think it's pretty much everything that I'm looking for. I love the way Brian's recurves shoot. I'm sure this longbow shoots the same way.
I have a feeling that this will be the next bow on my list
-
I like the looks of it!

Bob, I am still on the list. I did shoot one at the PBS Odd Year shoot in WI this summer...it lasted about 1/2 hour until the next guy took it to the range!
I believe Bryan Burkhardt took his to Alaska this fall. Shoot him a PM, but I imagine he is hunting big bucks right now.

Steve.......that next guy was me!
I shot a WI bear with it this Fall and am using it now for deer. It's my go to bow now! I love the grip.
Mine has Myrtle riser and Olive Ash veneers on the limbs.
