Turkeys know when the season is over and it's safe to venture onto a bowhunters lawn and DRIVEWAY. Heavy rain today and this pair taking a slow stroll to their roost.

Yes Joe, I know what you mean. They have come back to our archery range from the mountain above us. Now we are not allowed to hunt the range but we do get "road hunters" that trespass. Those birds and deer know human behavior.
They're smarter than me, that's certain. :notworthy:
Nice birds, you can't shoot them yet anyway, get better first.
Joe thats more then I seen the whole season. It was abosolutley terrible in my woods.
I truly believe this is the turkey equivalent to the middle finger....or middle feather.
Ha!, the only time gobbles were heard from the house during turkey season was on days I had left to hunt other areas. They must have been checking for my truck in the garage
They mock us!!!! :banghead:
Works exactly the same way with the deer around here. I swear the F&G Dept. gives them the regs before we get them.
Season ended on a Saturday here a couple weeks ago, and on Monday toms and hens were strutting through the yard like they'd always been there. During the month-long season, however, they seemed to have split the county.
Same here.
I just saw one driving home from work early the other morning, it bobbed its head at me and I swear said something like "and just think you had to work through the whole season!!" Not funny. Next year. Next year. This year the deer and hogs are gonna get it!
