Southeast Iowa bowhunters already have a big bunnie hunt. This will be their 2nd year. No reason you couldn't do the same in the Des Moines area.

That would be quite a drive for a bunny hunt, but I've been known to do dumber things. If you wouldn't mind a WI guy or two keep me in mind. I LOVE chasin bunnies!
