After bout 2 hrs of clean up around the place with my vintage Allis Chalmers, I thought Id knock the dust of some of my old Hill styles that have been hanging for a while.
After a bit of shooting I thought ,why not take a picture of some old work horses, all in one pic.
Seems that old and simple are a way of life around my place........and that suits me just fine. :bigsmyl: (http://%20 [/IMG] (http:// (http://

x2!!!
Paul,
Great pic bud but you need to give us the run down on the bow models from left to right!!! :)
Brian ill start from left to right, An all Osage Jim Bo, Silver Hawk, Hill Panther , N.M Classic, Tembo, Big Five and Half Breed.
The Panther is the young pup in the bunch, the others are from the 80's or for some maybe a bit earlier as best I can tell.
I may be a bit off on some of the ages but im fairly close.
Not quite as old as the old A.C, but classic work horses none the less. :campfire:
Thanks!
The family 9n is enjoying its third or fourth renaissance. Four generations have enjoyed its steady thumb and bumpy ride. And because of Green I am now looking for a Hill bow. I can't wait. Nice ride and awesome collection.

My old ford and a couple of new kids bows.
Simple and old moleman that describes me.
Sweet I love both old tractors and bows, I'm going to take some pics of my favorite John Deere two cylinder and my favorite bow. I like the simple life myself.
Great Idea Paul, Here are some pics of my two Wesley specials in front of my tractor (http://images.imagelinky.com/1370380152.JPG) (http://images.imagelinky.com/1370380152.JPG)

My tractor is a 1948 IH Farmall model C, first yr they built them. The Authentic log cabin was built from red oak logs off the farm for which I still own 75 acres of. The cabin was built in 1946 and 47 for my grandmother by my grandfather who was the last one to farm this land. I am the 6th generation to own it. The Wesleys are not as old, but workhorses like the tractor. This is my home as well as my hunting cabin.
I love it! The bows as well as the old tractors are simple and basic, but still gettin it done!
Great pics. guys!

Was raised on an old 8N Bill....and two old Allis Chalmers B's.
Nice collection of bows Moleman....great pic.
I'm surprised nobody's posted a pic shooting one of your HH's off your tractor.....course, it's a little dangerous on the tricycle variety.
Brings fond memories of Grandpa's 52' Case........It's still going strong!!
Awesome stuff.

Sweet thread
Very cool, except for the tricycle wheel. hate those things...
I love old tractors too, have a not so old ford and a not so old liberty longbow. Funny my buddy told me there was some porn I would be interested in seeing today and to guess what thread it was. I am picking this one. Nice pics guys.
Cool picture
Cool thread! I love the Allis D17! My dad used one on his onion farm everyday!

Great pics. Don't have a vintage tractor or a vintage bow but I sure have enjoyed looking at those pics. Thanks for sharing.
Great thread guys!
C'mon you guys...a wire brush and a can of paint and you could clean those classics up a little bit.

What Biggie said!
Naaaa!! I like it the way it is thanks. It's all original.
I'm not a tractor person, but guys, very cool looking machines !
A 12volt alternator on a classic like that Biggie?? come on, that is like putting a wheel kit on an old recurve.
I'll have to get a pic of my 52 8N up here. (6volt of course)
Biggie, you forgot the bows in your pic. We musn't forget the workhorse Hill bows! :bigsmyl:
I like to work with 'em, not on 'em. I'm gonna put fuel injection on my '65 JD.
