Title: Backing Morrison carbon limbs
Post by: flinthead on June 03, 2013, 08:10:00 AM
Is the finish on Morrisons carbon foam limbs tuff enough to apply limbsations covers and later take them off? Like the bow but may want to cover foam surface for looks, Thanks, Roy

Mine have camo cloth tape on the back with no effects.  They are tough limbs.  Tg

Thanks for the advice. Called Morrison about brace height and other advice on longbow. He said it should be fine, as long as the limb was not scraped to get limbsations off.
Also said brace height should be less than 7 in. and should shoot about 9 grains per pound weight. Was wondering if these carbon limbs could stand 6 GPP as ILF limbs could. He advised against light arrows. Just putting this out there in case anyone else was wondering. Thanks, Roy
