Title: Gail Martin Signature Recurve
Post by: AlanF on May 29, 2013, 06:59:00 PM
Anyone have experience with the 2012 or 2013 Gail Martin Signature Recurves?  They look like a nice bow with good riser mass.

I had one of the earlier ones a few yrs ago.   I don't think the new ones are much different.  I thought it was ok at the time, but later, when I bought better bows (Fox, Predator, Firefly, Bob Lee, Turkey Creek etc), it showed it up as being pretty ordinary.   For the price there are much better bows out there.  In retrospect it just did not seem that well made, not well balance and sub par on performance.   I would certainly never buy another one.

Sorry to be negative, but you asked.

It looks to be the Saber of the 90's.   I've been shooting a saber for over 10 years and after shooting a lot of other high end bows the Saber/Martin Signature seems extrordinary.  It's a speedy bow and very stable.  I'd love to buy this Gail Martin Sig version if I could find it.

I was wondering the same, anyone know if this is similiar to the 62" Monterey? 62" bow with low brace height (static?), looks like a real nice bow.
