Title: Little Billy Langer
Post by: RC on May 28, 2013, 10:06:00 PM
I took advantage of the offer Bill Langer had on his volume VIII dvd for St. Judes and I am glad I did.
I must say the hunt where Little Billy kills his first deer is the very best filmed hunt I have ever watched ,EVER and I have watched a bunch .The excitement in that young mans eyes was priceless and a blessing for me to watch. I look forward to many more.
You fellers get off your pocketbooks and get this film. Well worth the price. Good job both Bills.RC

Billy is a great young man! The apple didn't fall far from the tree.  Ben is the one we'll be watching out for in years to come. He's ate up with hunting like most of us.

You were right the first time RC, Billy took the spike in the video.
It's a great sequence and really puts it all into perspective. I had my wife watch a couple scenes and she couldn't stop talking about how great that one was.
I know Bill was, and is, a very proud Papa.
There's a good chance Ben will be hog hunting on the next one.
It's definitely one of his best videos, yet.

That is my favorite hunt as well! It is and incredible! Billy makes a perfect shot and the excitement really shows. It's great to see that he has gotten his kids involved and so young to be able to hold their composure like that. Hope to see some more from his kids like that.

Right up there with Billy's deer hunt is a segment on Vol. VII when Ben kills a large frog - his reaction is priceless. Great stuff

The Langer's put out some great vids and you can't help but like their blue-collar approach to hunting, shooting and just having family archery fun.

Thank you RC.
Little Billy and I just read through all your posts. We are very thankful that it inspired and moved you.  It was truly a once in a lifetime event between father and son, something that I hope all bowhunting fathers and their children can experience.  A bond forged in the woods with stick and string is without any doubt binding.  Please take the time to walk in the woods with a child and teach him/her the "true" circle of life and the importance of taking an active role in nature and the conservation of our heritage.
Thank you, Bill

True words right there Mr. Bill!  I hope to make memories like that with my little girl and boy someday!

That was a great video with many excellent hunts!  Nothing like getting a new video on a weekend off!  Very pleased and thank you for donating some of it to St. Jude!
