Just wanted to share a couple pics of quiver hoods I've put together to compliment some of the fine work done by Brian Wessel at Tall Tines Archery.

The first is a Great Northern type hood mounted on a Selway slide on bracket. The hood is slightly smaller and is setup to hold only 3 broadheads. I found a great piece of leather that I think matches the bow's bacote riser pretty well.

This second quiver is just a Great Northern strap on which I replaced the leather on to better match the earthy tones of my Wenge and Bacote Tall Tines.

Fantastic !
I love those leather quivers that have those subtle color tone variations. It gives it a very rustic look, versus a single plain jane color. Very nice looking quivers, well done. :clapper:
The leather I used on both quivers was discarded by a true leather artisan. Marty Overstreet from Circle Bar T Leatherworks had it in his scrap bin.
It actually came from the wrinkled neck or arm pit area on a veg tanned beef hide. Not great for high end gun scabbards or top grade pistol holsters but the grain popped for me and accomplished what I was after.
Nice and thick and with character.
You know what they say about one man's trash.........

That's what I did. Not hard at all. All you need is a leather punch, a couple lacing needles and an exacto knife.

Great work. What a nice compliment to such a fine looking bow.
