In the next few days I will be testing a 452 flemish that is 20 strands on a Hill Style bow.  Have not shot it yet.

on a endless loop 452 plus string I use 14 strands for up to 60 Lb on a longbow.

16 strands with .030 serving works good for standard nock size. I use this on all my longbows from hill style to r/d and to don't pad the loops .

By the way how ya doing pearly boy?

I found a nice string for my Black Widow PCH is 22 strands of 452X and standard 62 serving material. Strong, no need for padding loops, perfect nock fit, is nice and round, looks sharp and is very quiet. I tried 16,18,20 and 22.
