Here is our son Karsten today shooting a 1959/1960 34# Bear Alaskan.
He shot well today and we discussed our plans for the squirrel opener this September!
Just had to share.
Maybe I need to break out my 48# Alaskan of the same vintage for squirrel season!

Awesome dude
that is awesome.
Very cool.
Man, that's just great! Good luck you two and watch out squirrels. :D
Dang Colin....he's growin' up, ain't he? You two need to get after the groundhogs this summer too.
That's great!!!  God bless.
Remember posting on Charlie's group and if that is the same son, Greenie is right...that boy has GROWN!
Now, Son, you know you can't shoot worth a piddly right handed... don't go tell me Fred made "lefty" bows? Oh...wait... :saywhat:
I love it. I started out with a Halloween Alaskan myself when I was about Karsten's age.
Thanks for sharing.
Tom
I started on squirrels & they are a great way to start hunting they can teach you a lot. That's some good looking form he has good luck this season. :)
Thank you all!
They do grow fast! It was just me and the boys yesterday. Here is Karsten's little brother. The pic isn't incredibly clear but I think you can see how he is feeling.
He is intent on getting a turkey with his bow as soon as he's able. I am not sure where that came from but I feel the same as he does!

Great stuff keep it up.
Now there is a couple of good looking young hunters! Its a good thing the squirrels do not realise the trouble they are in.
