So, after a couple weeks of patient waiting I got home today to find a box from Badger Arrow on my front porch. It was all crushed-in and beat-up looking. Uh-oh. USPS usually does such a good job, too....
I opened the box to find a dozen arrows-fletched CX Heritage 250's- knocked out of the plastic separators and rattling against each other in the bottom of the box. Hmmm.
So I flexed 'em all. Inspected 'em. No damage. Beautiful. immaculate dips, fletchings, and beautiful black-and-silver cresting. Incredible work! GREAT!!!
Now for the really terrible part- I realized about 15 seconds later that I had left my case with ALL my bows in it at my in-laws' place! No shooting for me tonight! HORRIBLE, I SAY! Unfair!
No laughing. I heard you out there.
By the way, check out badgerarrow.com. Can I say that here? Paul's work deserves to be seen.
Takes more than USPS to break a CX!
Patience, grasshopper. :goldtooth:
So... Are the in-laws gonna do the bow case/airport test on your stuff tonight? You know what I mean. Don't they want to keep you home for the hunting season?
... mike ... :D
No worries. I hunt out at thier place!
Good thing they were carbon arrows, wood or ALU and the outcome would most likely have been a whole lot worse.
