Title: Pic's of a Young Buck
Post by: 4 point on May 26, 2013, 11:26:00 AM
Found this little guy yesterday. His mother wasn't very happy I was close to him. Hope he makes it 4 more years.

Almost looks like he's in a batch of mint but not certain....If he is in a batch of mint that just go's to show just how smart a Doe is by trying to cover his scent...
I know most will say they have No scent at all but those does really are smart and Mint would make a great cover up...Cute little feller God created there...   :)

Very cool picture!  I remember looking at a fern in the woods one early summer and did a double take.  It looked just like that tucked up in there.  Just disappeared.

I was thinking mint too, but it also could be cat nip.

That's a beautiful picture.  We were trout fishing yesterday and were fishing a hole for about 45 minutes and our dog came across one, they just scared each other for a few seconds, no harm done. It was amazing how close we were to if for so long and it just stayed put.

Mint would be nice, but I'm pretty sure that's nettles, aka itch weed.

Really cool picture!

Fletcher is correct, it's Nettles. It's only about a foot tall but he was well hid in it.
