Took Rod's course in March & he warned us our arrows were going to get short - worked the blank bale & bridge since then but with the turkey season on I took time out to tune in the hunting weight gear - got back to some target work today & noticed that my 31" velocity hunters were falling off the end of the arrow rest - measuring my draw length I've gone from 29"->32" & my groupings are a lot happier too - good thing there's some room to move the arrow rest back a little & I have a bunch of 32&33"'shafts - Great course Rod - M
Wish he was in MS
I went from just over 28" to a full 29 1/2" DL after attending Rods clinic!

How is your draw length increasing?

Because you learn to use proper back tension and proper archery form. Most people who have not taken some sort of formal archery instruction do not engage their back muscles and a lot do not have proper shoulder position during the shot.

I think it's a combination of a lower wrist position, better shoulder alignment re bow hand & moving to an anchor that puts my thumb knuckle at the base of my ear - biggest advantage is in consistency & a higher elbow for cleaner release - M
I took his course in Apr. It was well worth the money. My draw length increased from 28 to 30in. Also Rod has been still coaching me thru phone calls, emails, and video. Great Guy.
I don't increase anyone's draw length ......just get them using the draw length the Good Lord gave them! :)
I'm looking forward to the clinic in Oregon this summer!!! But If my draw length increases much more I will have even fewer arrow options to choose from...
Yep I went from 28" to 30" and have held there for a couple years now.

Sincere question; what is the benefit of the high elbow?
I gained 1.5" in draw length and now that I have a shot sequence I can shoot 60 to 80 arrows a night and not experience any fatigue. I'm shooting so much better I wouldn't even call what I was doing before shooting! Go to a clinic as soon as you can you won't be sorry.

My understanding is that high elbow allows your fingers to come off the string more easily - result is a cleaner release as you pull through with your rhomboids (back muscles) -> less lateral variation in arrow placement on target. In my case getting bow grip standardized to low against my palm heel + a high elbow really tightened up groupings - using a lower weight bow allows holding anchor for longer with my rhomboids - M
