Title: Timberhawk Talon Hunter
Post by: 8Crow on May 07, 2013, 12:13:00 PM
Just wanted to take a second to type up a little plug for Scott at Timberhawk.  My first ever custom bow arrived yesterday--a Timberhawk Talon Hunter.  It's a 3 piece T/D recurve and I ordered mine at 64", 45 @ 30&3/4".  Shedua riser with a single accent strip and brown glass limbs.

I know this is his base model and a little more money will get you a fancier bow, but this really is a gorgeous bow at a steal of a price--I couldn't be happier with it.  I love the shape of the riser, the grip is perfect and the matte frost finish on everything is just the right touch.  One happy camper here!  The guy doing the building was top notch every step of the way, too.  Two thumbs up for you, Mr. Mitchell!    :knothead:

Congrats on your fine bow! I've talked with Scott before and he is definitely a great guy.

Pics would be nice!   :bigsmyl:

I agree- Scott is a great guy. I've got a Talon Premier & that is a great bow! Been looking for a 58"-60" Talon Hunter to add to my collection.

Scott is a top notch guy. I only own 2 bows and they both are his. I was very new to archery when I ordered my first bow I had tons of questions He took the time to answer.
