Here's a great video of Howard Hill I just ran across and wanted to share with you guys. I love the old narration guys. Their voices are so dramatic.
I don't know about the William Tell shots. I think I would have run off the set.
Hope you enjoy.

That is incredible shooting. I am always amazed when I watch those old videos.

One of a kind for sure.

Great video, love the production. Times were different that is for sure.

That's a cool video. I can't believe Howard was using broadheads to shoot stuff off that guy's head! Thanks.

And he was a snap shooter :goldtooth:

Pretty neat.

I have an old VHS tape of that. It is in black and white and is now in poor quality. I bought it and a couple others from Jerry Hill at the SHOT Show in the late 80's. That color version is nice. Does somebody sell a DVD with HH short films in that kind of quality? I have a birthday coming up in about a month and would put something like that first on my list.

They did not care much about safety these days, did they? :)

I love to watch clips of Howard shooting. Everything about his shot comes together and creates a fluid, effortless shot. It really is poetry in motion for me.
