I have been shooting Carbon Express Heritage 150's from my Silvertip...and realized that I was getting low....last time I bought arrows was at Baltimore two years ago...so at Whittingham I decided it was time for some new ones. I am basically a plain jane kind of person when it comes to arrows...I like yellow fletch because I seem to see it better than other colors...but I tend to just use some plain yellow wraps, and fletch them up...no frills....I figure no deer I have ever shot seemed to mind....so why should I...???
I have been friends with Jim and Marcia Rebuck from J&M for years...and have always admired his arrows...they are works of art....as compared to my weak attempts.....so, I pulled the trigger and bought a half dozen....more expensive than doing them myself...but when I look at them they are well worth the extra money! I told Jim they were so nice I would be afraid to shoot them....he told me that would make me concentrate more and shoot better out of fear of losing or breaking them!
Jim does a great marble dip.....and chose the ones with it.....unbelievable.....think I will buy another half dozen at Baltimore or Denton Hill...he only had six of the design.....
