My First Robin Hood arrow with the help of Rod Jenkins.... A few lessons have made a difference in my shooting and a lot of pain in a muscle in my back that I didn't know I had...LOL
We were honored that Rod had come up and spent the weekend with us. Rod had placed 1st in the men's division and our daughter Emily 1st in the Junior Division at the WTA State Shoot.
I don't know how to post pics, so I have asked Sticshooter to post for me.
Sue
Here ya go Sue. You owe me 2lbs of Bear bacon.<>< (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/100_01361.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/100_01381.jpg)
Good for you. So which bow were you shooting?
Thanks Frank... You will have to come up to the house for the bear bacon...LOL
I used my Arroyo that's Rod's holding... I really did shoot it and not him....
SO you'll have to sell one that matches it and call it's Sue's Hood now. lol
Nice Shooting!!!
Bill
Nice shooting! Congrats!
Shooting barefoot Sue? You trend setter you.LOL Congrats to Rod and Emily from me and Shell for great shooting  :notworthy: .<><
We can shoot barefoot in Wisconsin because we don't have to worry about those Chiggers and snakes ....LOL (That's what I'm told anyway)
Well don't look under the back deck. Emily told me there were snakes GALORE under there! But heck the way you been shooting them would be easy targets.<><
Sue's bearfoot whenever possible...you can tell shes a countrygirl at heart!
Kudo's to WTA for a well organized event....lots of very good shooters and a high pressure format, makes the WTA Championship a class tournament.
Thanks for the hospitality :clapper:
You sure "wasted" some pretty fletching with a beautiful Robin Hood!
Sorry we missed ya Rod and the TIKI SHOOT!.<><
How can I get some of them lessons? Rod we missed you at the Howard Hill this year.
I forgot to mention, one of the best lessons that Rod was able to give was to our son Austin. It came down to the final four, and Rod & Austin were paired up against each other. The coach was able to show the student how to perform under pressure.
Thanks Again Rod.....
Glad you made it back safe & sound....
Awesome!
Great job! :clapper:
Way to go Sue and congrats to Emily for her great shooting as well!
OOPS! Congrats to Austin (TALLDRINKOFWATER) for some mighty fine shooting also . <><
Congrats to all! Sorry I couldn't make it for that one. Just too much going on getting ready for the hunt. Plenty of high fives for you though!
Ommision of congrats to Austin was simple senior moment, bet he's making new arrows for Sue now.
Congrats to all the TerMaats!
That's OK tom Austin likes to make arrows! LOL!!
Nice shot Sue! I didn't hear about that over the weekend!
Had a great time at the shoot (as I always seem to) Great course and facilities up there for sure, and great friends and food to go with it.
Rod, had a good time shooting with you too until you caught on to our Wisconsin Scoring System!
;) :p
Joe, I didn't shoot the Robin Hood until Sunday late afternoon and that's why you didn't hear about it sooner. Rod gave Emily & I some lessons on Sunday. I figured he would need a few beers before teaching me....He explained that it's ok to match your arrows, quiver and clothes, but you still have some learning to do on shooting. We sure made him laugh though..... I think he's starting to understand the female brain better...LOL
Rod was telling us about your scoring system and it still didn't work out so hot for you guys...LOL
Very nice, I love my Arroyo and will own another in the near future. Shawn

It was good meeting and shooting with you, Joe!
Yeah the WI scoring system was new to me :D For those that dont know how the WI scoring works....Joe and gang kindly invited me to shoot a fun round with them on Saturday afternoon...Bob was scoring arrows and on one target Bob calls out a 5 for my arrow and as the shot looked exactly like a 12 to me, I questioned him about it...Bob says, yeah thats the way it works up here...that little ring in the center of the 10 counts 5 points :biglaugh:
:bigsmyl:  :notworthy: Congrats. That is Awesome...
