Well this past Monday was the season opener and I was very fortunate to have gotten a nice tom very early. Sorry for the poor video quality guys I just bought a new camcorder after viewing this. http://youtu.be/SQtsgFLfdjM
That was awesome!!!
The video quality doesn't hurt that hunt one bit. Awesome !
:notworthy: Great video Dave.

Excellent video Dave. Congrats!
very cool, good job Dave :clapper:
Awesome video, thanks for sharing with us.
Awesome video Dave. Congratulations!
The decoy is the bestturkeydecoy and the hen in the ground is a DSD breeder hen. I've used this setup for a number of years with the same results. I hope to have better footage with my new HD camcorder. I know it's not as cheep but those turkey nuggets in a fryer are delicious. Thanks for all the kind words guys.
That was awesome! I like the way you play hard to get with your calling when the bird is gobbling his head off before he comes into the frame. And you are making me think again about getting a string tracker. Looks like it worked perfectly.
great video , thanks for sharing  :clapper:
That was great!
Congrats! Great video great hunt great bird!! I used the same Jake decoy and a hen set up like yours and it drove the toms crazy.

that was freaking awesome!
I was excited watching it.
Great hunt and very exciting. Sitting on the edge of my chair.
I will have to take a camera next time. Really did not expect the string tracker. How far was your set up?
 :archer2:
I shot that bird at 10 yards. I've seen no ill effects from the string tracker out to 25 yards. It was my first time using it on a turkey and I loved it. Ofcourse it wasn't needed but it was nice to have just in case.
Good job. How far did he go ?
Wow, that was an awesome video! Congrats on the bird.
He only went about 25 yards.
That's awesome brutha!!! Congrats :clapper:
Gonna try to video this year as well.
Gonna be tough...work just got busy, and 2 kids playing baseball/softball...so Cade and I get a couple chances

Love it... nothing like hearing a gobbler sounding off... Thanks for sharing!
What in the world is that in the background that kept going back and forth... almost looked like people (dogs) walking on the hill behind...
Jonathan

Looks like cars and trucks on a road.
Great video!Congrats.
You are having a good year Dave. Nice one!
Thanks fellas, that is a main route in the background about a mile off road birds love that area. That bird makes four birds in four years out of the same place.
Real cool stuff.
That was awesome! Bout jumped out of my chair when the string tracker came shooting out! :knothead: Wasn't expecting that -----bow-fishing for turkeys :bigsmyl:
Awesome Dave
I wanna say thank you to all that have helped and to those of you with such nice compliments. My plan is to try to get better footage now that I have a new camera. We will see what the rest of the season brings.
Congrats! That was pretty awesome! I got a go pro that I'm hoping to get some video with this year.
Excellent job Dave! You have far more patience than me, and it made for some great footage.
