Need some advice.Switched from a 135gr.broadhead to a 165gr.BH.Didn,t think it would make a differance, but my arrows are not flying straight.
They are hitting where I look but nock pointing to the left.I,m shooting a 54lb.HHill.at my 25in.draw.The arrows are ash 45/50 spine 28 1/2 in. long. What do I need to do?????
Sounds like it made em too limber, put a paper match behind your strike plate as near to above the grip as you can and try her again....
You could shorten your arrows some and stiffen the dynamic spine, if you don't want to build out the shelf, like Kennym suggested. Just go slow and only take a 1/4" off at a time, if the length of your arrows will allow it. Otherwise you only options are add weight to the nock end (tough to do with wood shafts) or start with stiffer arrows.
I'd suggest the same as Lefty. The heavier points require a higher spine dynamic which you will get by shortening the shafts. Paper tuning as you shorten will assure you of the best tune. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
