Just bought a used Griffin and was wondering what to expect?

Expect one of the best longbows you can get. I've owned a couple, and liked them alot. I can't think of any bad traits they possess. I have a 28" draw, maybe a person with a longer draw may have concerns. They are a great bow. Expect to be very happy. rat'

The only thing I would sell me griffin to buy is the same bow in a 2 piece.

I draw 29.5" and a 60" Griffin handled that very well. Great bows, if the one I had was a few pounds heavier it would still be with me.

I have been fortunate to shoot lots of custom bows and the Griffin still remains in the top 3 for me.
Take care,
Jason

Not much different than a Shrew, so I think you'll like it.

I only have recurves now but have had a few longbows in the past, my old Griffin is the only one I wish I still had.

Once it was tuned, which was easy enough, it was the quietest bow of any type I've ever had.  They are very nice.
