I confess to not being much of a hybrid longbow guy after owning several but I just picked up this 62" 50# St. Joe the other day and I am in love with it. I haven't stopped shooting it since.
I really wanted a Michigan made bow and this one is a sweetheart. I've named her "Josey". She is osage and cherry and shoots like a dream.
David and Tracey are incredible to work with. Just got a bow for my 3-year-old too!

I dig the riser. Kinda reminds me of a st. charles thnderbird with that belly flare. Nice bow.
Great Looking Bow, enjoy!
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!
Enjoy the beautiful osage bow and being in the woods!
Beautiful bow. I got a new SJRB at the end of January. I'm finally fully recovered from my 15'fall induced broken back and have actually got a chance to do some real shooting with mine. I love the slight Hybrid design that braces up to a beautiful D. Very quick and dead silent. It's the bow that turned me into a longbow guy.
That St Joe is a real looker I have had the pleasure to shoot this bow several times!

Two years ago, when I considered myself a "longbow purist" (whatever that meant) I disregarded hybrids and as real "longbows" and didn't give St. Joe's the time of day. Now I appreciate all designs and just love to shoot what feels good...and this bow flat out SHOOTS. I'm a 66" guy and this is the only 62" I've ever shot well.
My favorite aspect of St. Joe's are the limbs. They have that wicked R/D to them but they still form a semi-D when strung. The look very different than most forward handle bows. They are also VERY quiet in comparison to most R/D bows I've shot as a result.
Looks good to me........
So glad you have fallen in love with Josey LOL I never doubted it
Nick took this bow as a test drive and he had full intentions to send it back after two weeks thinking it would not be for him. he had it 24 hours and said sorry we couldn't have it back :bigsmyl:

Yeah..that test drive thing isn't a good bow selling strategy at ALL. :biglaugh:
Great looking bow, and great people to deal with! Check out their generous auction items on the St. Jude's site!
Enjoy your bow, LimbLover!!
That is a neat looking bow. I'd love to shoot it!
I'll second the statement about great people and beautiful bows.
Nice. I just got my six year old a St Joe River longbow a couple weeks ago. It is his first lefty. He has been having a ball with it.
You'll love it. My daughter's bow is really cool. She is 3.
