Way to go!
Nice bird man!
thanks for the compliments guys. to tell the whole story would take a couple hours of typing so the short hand version. i missed a jake in the a.m., he turned as i dumped the string and it went just passed his breast. (visible on the video). went to lunch then went back to the field for a stake out. and a little while later he pops out right next to the blind. he wanted a piece of the jake but i didn't let him get close enough and the rest of it is history. ( my dad was running the camera so it was even better, got everything so alot of thanks to him.)
Dave your tag is next it will be a great pre-season hunt for getting ready for bear just tell me when your ready to go and you will be the next one.
good luck everyone else

Congratulations. Gotta wait till May 6th for my season to open up here in T.C. Reports I'm hearing are mixed. Not a lot of gobbling going on, although we just got another inch of snow last night. This has been a long spring.

OUTSTANDING.
I drew a permit for the first week but couldn't make it. Because I didn't pay for the license the DNR said I could buy an over the counter last season license so thats when I will be out there.
Good job.RC

Welcome Mr. Howard! It was good to see you at the archery shop. Talon is going to be busy getting us all birds to match his.
D.P.
DAVE PAGEL...great to see you again....lol..hard to believe its been almost 15-18 years. Yes Talon is gonna be busy and for some reason I could see him on his own TV show...like turkey dynasty or something....we could be regulars on it! Hope the 3 of us can get together and shoot...if you dont mind a North Paw tagging along yo!
Any time Matt. You are always welcome to shoot with me. I have been told I have face for radio so I don't know about the TV thing.
D.P.
that would be a fun excursion there fellas.
