Let me know what you think.
I figure I will have to do something about my arrows and quiver. I loosely followed Guru's How to resource.
Hopefully I will find someone to take a picture of me wearing it so I can see what It looks like on me.

I spent about 30 bucks and have some left overs.
I like it . I have one that came with a cover for the rifle been thinking how to modify it for my bow. Got some nice ideas from this. Thanks
Oh, thought ya were dressed in it!! :knothead: :bigsmyl: Nice! Shawn
Shawn, No way I can wear this down by you, I'd get stuck
Looks great Charlie,
How long did it take you to make?
Great job, Charlie. Time for you to go to Marine sniper school!
Tom
Sweet buddy
Great job! So I guess now you will sneek up and just grab 'em with your hands. Really nice suit.
Now that is impressive Charlie.
Well done, impressive for sure!
Pretty cool!!, I bought a ghilli kit, but I lost patents making it!!
Looks good Charlie, good luck with the turkeys.
-Jay

Not sure, But I pecked away here and there. It was fun, Kind of therapeutic. I'd say in all, about 30 hours but the next one would be about 1/2 that.
I have found a few short cuts and if I had followed the "How To" I would have saved a lot of time and mistakes as well.
Excellent job! Good luck with it and look forward to a story with it in action.
Great job Charlie, those birds are in trouble for sure.Good luck this season. You may not need a lot of luck with that suite.
God job on that one Charlie!! Good luck on your hunts!
Nice job on the gillie suit Charlie. Best of luck.
Well done, Charlie. The critters will never know you are there.
Looks great Charlie!! Next we will be looking for the picture of the turkey your gonna slay while wearing it. I dont think you will need your bow though. I was picturing you just laying on the ground next to your decoys with your arms out and snatching a gobbler when he tried making his move. Word of advice, watch out for those spurs :bigsmyl:
Good Luck!!
Nobodys gonna see you for sure
Nice job on the ghillie suit.
That looks sweet Charlie, I'm expecting a full demonstration sometime in the near future
Charlie,
We may have to call you the heart attack kid what with all the bowhunters that you are going to scare the s--t out of.
Rick :scared:
Hey Charlie,if you wear that to Whittingham watch out a dog doesn't lift a leg to you.Maybe bring a change of clothes, just in case. ;)
Great job charlie now you are ready to get that bird......................
Move slow... Stay in the shadows...
A new world of hunting is going to open is about to be opened!!!
Enjoy!!!
Welcome to the madness
Looks really good! I use one too, watch out for cuckle burrs, stickers, and thistles.
great looking suit Charlie.. Can't wait to hear how it works out for you
Looks great!
OK so I tried it on in the woods. I see my legs and fletch cover stand out.
The idea was 3 different set ups, they all had to be super fast set ups, like 20 second set ups like if a gobbler was closing fast. I picked 4 different types of cover.
1. Tree in woods with some cover,
2.Brush backdrop,
3.brush in front,
4.open hardwoods.
I'm tempted to make a ghillie knee cover?
1. tree with a little back cover

You're going to love it. Based on my first year with my ghillie.........it's real easy to have an animal within FEET of you - drawing on that animal is a whole nuther story that I haven't mastered yet.
Looks like a good project to work on this summer. Too late for turkey hunting this spring. Wanted to try one and building it would be interesting. Where did you get the netting?

I bought some fish netting from the big Auction site. It seems as if some people can get it at local craft stores. I have heard of people using volleyball nets and such.
Pretty nice  Not sure what you got there for a fletching cover but it looks blue, just a safety note never wear red, white or blue when you hunt turkey because that's how people get shot. Good luck and play it safe.
Jim, Its a bag I found in a closet that I tried to dye before i went out but the dye didn't take. I found an old head net that I think will work much better. The best part is, I don't have to change its color.
I mean, I left it blue so you could see me
