I hope that this is posted in the right place, as I feel that it needs to be put out there for the whole TG community.

This is my first year to participate in the TG St. Jude's auction, and I am really excited to participate!

Although we all may not be in the position to donate much at all, I personally challenge EVERY TG member, new and old, to see if they have a spare bow, knife, broadheads - etc. that they are not using and to consider adding to the auction.

Every little bit counts!!  

Let's all work together to make 2013 the staggering success!!

I was inspired by the bowyers bench to start my St Jude's kids bow today. Hickory Selfbow,30 ish poundage,dual shelf. Not words but deeds.

Anyone who has not yet participated in the St. Jude auction has missed out on tons of fun.  Great spirited razzing, lots of stuff to bid on, and then to know you are helping some great and deserving kids get a shot at life.....what could be better?

Comon guys, look around, and see what you got laying around.  now I KNOW some of you guys got fat this winter..you gotta have some camo that don't fit or something!! I looked around and saw that I had a bunch of knives that I just don't use any more, so I put them up. do some spring cleaning!!

I don't keep my head in any one game too much these days, so I missed the beginning "pitches", I guess. Today, when I got those e-mails from Trad Gang about the opening and closing dates for the bid forums, I said, "Holy St. Jude Auction, Batman, is it that time again already?"

IT IS! IT IS!

I wouldn't miss that unless I was on my last legs, and I'm not. Fortunately I "gather" little goodies throughout the year to put up for bids toward helping the children of St. Jude - things I hope will tickle folks fancy, and cause them to bid (feverishly) for the kids.

Now all I have to do is get my butt in gear, take pics of the stashed goodies (and whatever else I come across in the depths of my "Glory hole Room") and get them ready to post and add to the growing list y'all good players are speaking of above. First though I will go eyeball the pre-auction listing of items and see what goodies are coming out of other members ditty bags and sink holes.

Remember PLEASE, that any and all items will help and any and all donations of items, bids, cash donations, and your/our precious time, however insignificant they may seem to you, will help the cause and final total gift to St. Jude and it's outstanding work for the Children.

Okay.  Got a nice GPS put up.  Maybe some more stuff to come this weekend.

Yeah.....hopefully I am done for a while....unless, of course, I could find another 56" KS.....or a BW LB....or a....oh, wait.....never mind.

What I'm hoping will show up on the auction is a 40#-45# RH longbow or recurve that is very forgiving to shoot.  If the right one will show up, I'd bid on it to have as an introductory bow for some of my buddies.  Being the only southpaw in the crew can be a pain at times.  Just needing something to "give them a taste."

Listers!  The last 10 listers (no matter how many items)  One chance each for each item listed for the last ten.  If each lister puts in 5 items, then 50 chances, then 1 drawing out of 50 (but only the last 10 listers eligible).
