Title: Kanati slim quiver
Post by: acollins on April 13, 2013, 11:50:00 PM
I am looking for new quiver. I always hunt with 2 blade broad heads. I really like the design of this quiver. I have read several reviews on Kanati quivers, but not specifically on this design.   Does anyone have any experience with it.  What are your opinions. Thanks.

I love mine. I have it on my Kanati bow. The way it angles puts my arrows parallel with the lower limb and out of the way. It might not work too well with D-shaped longbows because of the metal bar but will work fine with most recurves and forward handled longbows.

I will be putting it on a Timberhawk recurve.

I have a Slim Jim on my Centaur. Best bow quiver I have used so far. There isn't anything I would change about it either.

I have 3 and 2 of those are slim jim models...
I just got a new one for Christmas in the hood color of the far right (dark brown with black insert) and it's easy putting on with  the newer strap design and has a round hole to hang bow on a limb or peg....You can adjust that thing in every direction you can imagine..Make sure your broadheads are pushed up to where they meet the shaft so you don't accidently cut yourself..

I had one made up for my 56" Kwyk-Styk. Compliments the bow beautifully.Mounts quickly yet solidly.
Excellent design and craftsmanship, plus John is an awesome guy to deal with.
I don't think I have any pics of it yet but if I can, I'll do so today and post.
Thanks Mo

I have 3 of these! 2 on longbows and one one a recurse. In my opinion one of the best made and I have tried more than a few.  Solid mounting. Nice low profile. Again, for a two blade broadhead, these can't be beat.

Here you go. I was able to take some pics today before the snow began [again]. (http://i.imgur.com/Z7PNtuR.jpg?1)

Very happy with the quiver. Quick release and pack's up nicely with the bow in one of Rod's Safari Tuff Rhino Compact Bow Case.

Enjoy

I have two side mount Slim Jims. I like the two piece the best but both work very well. I shoot Simmons Interceptors and the quiver fits them nicely.

Does anyone know if the this model will handle the simmons tiger sharks. The quality of John's quivers and his customer service is as good as it gets.

It handles the Interceptors just fine. I think they are the same width. The way it is made, I think it would probably handle the tree shark as well, but I am not sure of that.

I have used the Centaur Big Game broadheads in mine. They are 1 3/4" wide.

Love the design, but can't be satisfied with just three arrows.  Hoping he comes out one day with a five arrow model.
