Used one of two different sizes for years. In Idaho, a guy can go all day with one of those things. Lighter bow makes for simpler shooting for me.

I have had several Cat Quiver, I, II, and the Mini. I still have the Mini straped to my Waldrop Pac-Seat. They work well if you sneaking around and want to stay mobile. Sometimes getting an arrow back in while its on can be a pain, but you can work around it!

Had one and didn't work for me. It was long with full length arrows in it. With my short arms it was hard to remove and replace arrows. Use a fanny pack with shoulder strap. for my arrows they are in a Kanati quiver on my bow or in my side quiver made by Steven Catts.

I have a mini that a friend gave me, I only use it when I am scouting and wearing a fanny pack. I have a II that I use in Florida and I have a III for when I am hunting in the North, it has lots of room for an extra jacket, gloves, hat etc. and plenty of water and snacks..I have some trouble getting an arrow back into quiver but overall I really like the Cat Quivers. I have not tried the Safari Tuff quivers, they look user friendly

I have the Cat1 with the optional hip pack/belt.  Carries everything I need for my purposes.  It does take some getting used to.  I also have the Cat 6.5 for when I need to carry a lot of stuff.

I have the Cat 2 and love it. Got the hang of putting arrows back in and doesn't get hung up on brush like some other quivers.

I love it for those long hunts when I carry more gear and especially during bad weather. Not only does my Cat 3.5 carry quite a bit of gear inside, I also tie down my Torges seat and extra clothing.

I have a cat 3 and always have room for all that I care to carry with it. Like the fletchings staying dry in light rain and just hang it in the tree or next to me on the ground. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.

I use a CQ4, and have kind of a unique setup.  It works really well for me.

That being said, I don't use a CQ all the time.  I use a bow quiver most of the time.

Here's a clip of my Catquiver setup:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKx9VMayaqU

I've always liked the looks of these quivers, but could never tell what held them secure up in the top. I saw a demonstration on 3Rivers but still couldn't see what they snapped into? Can anybody explain it?

It is just pressure that holds them in. The top of the quiver is foam that allows you to push the nock up into it enough to extract or insert an arrow.

It's pretty simple.   There is a thick piece of foam in the top of the quiver that you push the nocks of your arrows up into.   (The nocks do not penetrate the foam.)  You adjust the length of the quiver to accommodate the overall length of the arrows,  so that they are held in place by the tips pushing into a piece of rubber at the bottom,  and the pressure of the foam against them at the top.

x2 Ron W.  I like everything about mine, except trying to put an arrow back in.  Also, mine developed a squeak every time I take a step or turn my torso one way or the other- I solved it with some wool felt between the camo material and the plastic hood cover.

i have used a cat 2 for alot of years, and then a cat 6,  i believe, the one with the large butt pack and quiver at the side, but the best set up with a cat quiver i have found is a small daypack with a mini cat fastened to the side of it,opposite your bow arm, it works pefrectly, i normally use plastic zip ties.. but you can have the exact pack you want, even a hydro pack, as well as a cat quiver, best of both worlds..

I had one and I never got used to the fact that it was flat in my way when I tried to sit on a log and glass the country. Better things for me but lot of people like'em.

You can use tha Cat easily if you use a Ribz pack.  The Cat takes some getting used to, but they do work.

Having access to such, I started one out of alumninum.  No plastic, and only slightly heavier, but it is stout.  It is hanging in the garage, beckoning me to finish it.  Jerry is a great guy and willing to listen to users, hence the large options.

I use either a 2, 3 or 3.5 depending on the situation.  I love them.  You can't beat the convenience.  I use full-length arrows so I can't use the mini because I can't get it long enough.  But otherwise 90 percent of the time I have a Catquiver with me.

I use the C-Q 2 OR 3, pending on my hunting situation, (whether or not I'm on stand all day). I love em both!! For me, it's easy to remove and replace my arrows on the go.
