Finally, after swinging back and forth between a compound bow (sometimes) and traditional bows (most of the time) I finally got over the hump. Yesterday i got the opportunity to shoot a Martin Bamboo Viper.
It felt so right, banging arrows together at 20 yards. After a night of tossing and turning I did it! Today I traded my compound bow for a brand new Bamboo Viper at my local Archery shop. Talk about feeling cleansed. In my heart I have always known this was the path I was to take, but it took a longbow to show me the way. Thanks to all of you for sharing your stories with me. I hope to be able to contribute back to the group.
