I think I finally fixed my arrow problem, now I just have to buy some new broadheads. What good 3 blade broadheads are available in 100 grains? Price is a bit of a factor here :readit:
Thanks
How many heads do you need Luke?
I have 2 or 3 "Thunder something" I can send you, in the 125grs.

Luke, if 25 grains will not make a differene buy some 100 grain Snuffers and a dhort BH adapter(25grs.) If it does Steelforce makes a nice 100 grain cut on contact BH. Shawn
Luke,
If a two blade head would work for you, I have 8 Bear broadheads. You can add the insert and make them a 4 blade and then they would weigh 110 grains. I have some of the inserts and would send them all to you for free. They need sharpened and one is nicked up on the end, but would make a good practice head and the other seven would make hunting heads. Just PM me if you want them.

Something wrong with Snuffers?

Wow thanks for the offer Chris, I might take you up on that. They're not left-handed broadheads though are they? ;) PM headed your way.
Manny I think 125gs might be a little too heavy. 100s are right on the verge of making my shafts too weak, and I'm afraid the 125s might be just a little push over the edge. Thanks for the offer though.
Killie I wasn't aware that they made 100 grain Snuffers. Shows how much I know :knothead:
Thanks for all the help
Luke,
They do make 100 snuffers, but you need an adapter, so you're back up to 125.
I don't "think" they make 100gr finished screw-in snuffers, but you could check the cabela's website to find out...
You could also try some 4-blad zwickey's that would finish around 100gr with an adapter...maybe 105 or 110'ish...
Or those bear razorheads offered above look pretty good.
The Montec's listed are nice...but as you say...money is a concern...and I wouldn't pay $30+ for 3 of them myself...just my opinion.
Good luck this year!!
Marc
Hey Marc, good to see you around. How have you been? I think I'm taking Chris up on his offer for the Bears. I'm going to do my best to get some blood on them.
Good luck in the woods
P.S. I still carry that knife when I'm hunting.
Muzzy 100 grain three blade would be hard to beat unless you used the phantom 100 grain four blade.RC
NAP HellRazor in 100 gr
Snuffer SS in 100 gr
Magnus Stinger 4 blade 100 gr

Luke I would put a thin piece on the sideplate of your bow to tune it to 125gn heads. It would take very little to adjust centershot to be able to use heads more readily available. jmo
Thanks for the link Killy...but those are $35 for three...a bit beyond Luke's means, I'm afraid...
And I'm doing well, Luke. Got a new Widow coming to try out and everything!
Glad to hear the knife's still working with ya'...
Good luck with your BH search...
M
James that's actually exactly what I have done to allow myself to shoot these 100 grains. The carbons I have are too soft for my bow, so I built out the riser plate until there's almost no room left for the arrow. If I do it anymore I might as well be shooting off the knuckle.
Luke,
Mailed them out today. Be careful opening the box. Have a good season!
Chris
Luke, have you thought about cutting a few inches or more off of your arms??!!!!!!
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PICTURE OF HIS ARMS? Boy must have an honest to goodness 33" draw!
How have you been Lil Fred?
Thanks Chris. I'll do my best to put tthem to good use.
Brian I have thought of doing something like that, but that would make me an average person. I like to be above average :D . You would be proud of me. I was drawing in front of a mirror today and was working on stretching out to full draw all the way. I drew the tip of a 145 grain point on a full length carbon with a brass insert onto the shelf. I guess I'm still growing :D :D
I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking. This sunday I'm moving out to start my Wildlife Biology degree at the University of Guelph, so that'll be a huge change. I don't think I'll be able to shoot on campus, and i have no idea what kind of hunting time I'll be able to have, especially if I make the volleyball team. Only time will tell. How have you been? Family doing well?
