Title: dalaa
Post by: sar on August 26, 2007, 02:05:00 PM
It's been a while since folks have bragged on their dalaas!  I'm thinking of buying one and would like to hear some impressions now that they've been out for a while and the initial burst of excitement has died down.  Besides the good stuff, I'm curious about maintenance and durability in the field.
Thanks!
Stephen

Oh and if anyone has any chrono numbers(esp at 9gpp) I'd love to hear it.

You should get good info here; but you will get more in-depth stuff at tradtalk.com as well.

It's pretty much a can't-go-wrong purchase...with great resale value as well, if you end up not liking it for some reason.

I got mine in May and not too much later I sold a Widow and Fedora.I ordered An Elite and bought two Warf bows also since then.

There are faster bows though the Dalaa isn't slow.I don't have numbers for arrows that heavy.Mine shoots 7gpp at 208-212 as my 3D set up.

If you get one make sure it is set up for you.If you draw 31in don't get a 58in model. The ability to set the bow up for you is what makes it so great. It may take a couple days to find out what the preload sweetspot is at your draw.

I have a Dalaa and now an Elite and they're both the best bows I've ever shot! You can't go wrong! Durability and maintainance are no problem. David Soza (kineticbows.com) has some chronograph numbers on his site. I agree with insttech1 that you will find a lot of in depth info at TradTalk.
