I read on their FAQ's to use gel super glue for vanes,but they didn't mention feathers. Does anybody have any experience they could pass on?

I use Bohning Platinum and I clean them with91% alcohol prior to applying feathers. You want to clean shaft good prior to applying wraps too.

I have used the platinum with good results but my last fletching job I used the beyond bond from three rivers. It was a little thicker and I liked it better.

Fletching some up right now. After a little trial and error I may be settled on Loctite Super Glue....the Ultra Gel Control variety.

Very clean to work with, and they set up way faster than the Bohning Platinum.

Only worry with the super glue is how well and durable it will be. The platinum will take a licking and doe's great in wet conditions.

I use Platinum most of the time, but if in a bit of a hurry I've used gel super glues without any problems.

I don't clean them with anything...just roll them on and glue the feathers   :thumbsup:

Fletch tite platinum or Goat Tuff

I used Locktite super glue gel and it worked fine

I've used Platinum and fletch tape with no problems.

I have been using the Gorilla super glue. Sets up quick and I haven't had any problems with it.

Onestringer web site says Loctite superglue gel. Works good for me.

I only use NPV now. I haven't found anything that works better and I have tried most of them.

Use Bohning fletching tape, put a drop of the loctite super glue gel on each end and you're good to go.  In my rarely humble opinion, fletching with blue, whether on wraps or bare shaft, sucks.

No cleaning, fletch tite plantinum.

Thanks for all the experience, just a quick post on TG saves a lot of money and time. I have never been let down. I feel confident to move forward now.

I use AA Fast Set Gel. If I blow an arrow up, a thumbnail take sthe feathers off with a strip of the wrap. Sand the feather bases down and they're ready for a new shaft.

I have had great luck with Platinum over wraps, no prep at all, it's like the stuff was made for wraps it works better on them than anything else IMO.  Platinum and Fletch Tape both need to be fresh for best results.

All of the above will work, I personally use just about any gel super glue.

I've been using Crazy Glue of Gorillia super glue for my inserts and fletchings for a few years now. I have yet to have an insert pull out in a 3D target or a feather come loose. Cheap and works.... at least for me.

Same here.

I use Onestringer wraps all the time I use Platinum and fletch tape with no problems.

Like others Fletchtite Platinum...I have had good results so far with it...

I use Fletchtite Platinum also and don't do anything to the wraps but put them on. Never had a problem .
