I have been seeing the tome strutting hard for a couple of weeks. Making me a little crazy, I must admit. Getting close to season though!

It's here in Florida but my turkey hunting location is now flooded due to all the rain. :banghead:
Good luck to everyone and nice pics Elksong.
Y'all are making me jealous! I missed the drawing in IL. It's shotgun only season, but I think you can now hunt them. Honestly I never checked the regs, I better check for next year cause I always bowhunter them
Yup, they are all blown up around here, but we have til May 1st. in NY. I am gonna give it a real go this year!! I have killed several with my recurve but I have never really gotten into it like I should as I hate getting up early!! I have 2 new properties this year and this evening saw 40 birds in one field, at least 10-12 were Toms. I just wished we opened mid-april or so here!! Shawn
Love them gobs...
Heading to Nebraska a week from Easter.
It is tough giving up turkey hunting for lent.
Season opens up Monday here and I can't hardly stand it anymore!!!!!! Ill have to call in we'll for a personal holiday!!! Lol

We are still unseasonably cold in Southwest PA, I've not seen the turkeys moving around yet. But hoping to stick one with the bow this year.
In NH the Fish & Game Dept. just sent out warnings to those of us who have bird feeders to take them in at night because of bears. They never warn us about turkeys. Took this yesterday from my inside hallway looking into the front yard. Yesterday, as well, there was gobbling almost non stop from sunup until about 10 AM.

I saw two groups a couple weeks ago.......on private land. I got a late start scouting. We'll see what I can find the next two weekends.

Cool pictures! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to get to go home to TN in just two more weeks. I'm going to try and get one on video. Wish me luck!
The last two years pickin's have been slim around here. Especially this year. Only seen one group of 6 gobblers all season while deer hunting.
Weathers suppose to break and get out of freezing tempts just right for the opener Mon. 8th.
Ran into some jakes throwing a road block this a.m., they won't live long playing in the road. Not the way people drive around here....

I'm more so looking forward to a spring trip to Manitoba for bear camp but my buddy keeps sending me trail cam picts from a path that leads down to his food plot. I have to admit, it is kind of diversion. :)

IBOW- Those are some BIG birds! I wish I had the funds to do a bear hunt. I am hoping, wishing, dreaming, wanting and planning on trying to get that done next year!
