Hi all,
I need help with carbons please. I shoot a 44# pound home made hybrid bow. I was told these arrows will do? Is there someone else that shoots these? I am looking to put about 200grs upfront, with 3 5" shield cut feathers. Does this sound right?
Thanks
Pete
They might possibily work,I would leave them full length and try them first. The PSE 200 has a spine of .424,alittle stiff for a 44# bow.The PSE 100 have a spine of .520,I shoot the PSE 100 out of a 66",43# ILF bow.How long is your draw length? Is the bow cut to center? I would try some bareshafting at full length with the 200 grs. upfront and see what happens. They may be alittle stiff, but you can't be sure until you try one.
Hi John,
Thanks for the reply. Yes my bow is cut to centre and my draw is 28". I'll leave them long and paper tune. I am looking to build myself a 50-55# bow next maybe they will suite that better.... Got all the lams for the bow, just need time...
Thanks again

Pete, they are good arrows and I like them myself for a couple of my bows. They are a fairly lightweight arrow, the 200(.424) are 7.5 GPI and the 100(.520) are 6.6 GPI.When I tune my carbons I'll push in the insert with some saran wrap,it will hold the insert in snug enough for shooting and tuning without glueing in the inserts until your done with your tuning. You just need a softer target like a bag target that doesn't grab too tight on arrow removal.Your bow being cut to center and your draw length will help.
Hi John,
Thanks for he tip, will definitely try that.
